A study in presence, light, and resistance.
For this collaboration, REDDA steps into the lens of Christean Kareem - New York-based visual artist whose work navigates mysticism, memory, and liberation. Through his eye, garments become symbols, gestures become statements, and the body becomes a moving archive. This dialogue captures not just how we dress, but why we resist, remember, and reveal.
Before fabric, there was feeling.
Before silhouettes, there were shadows.

A collaboration with no seams, only signals.
No cuts, just codes.

The unwritten speaks in light and texture.
Identity lives between each frame.

This is not just collaboration - it’s communion.
Christean Kareem brings REDDA into a new kind of light.
Christean Kareem
Photographer and Visual Artist
Christean Kareem is a Brooklyn-based photographer whose work is rooted in emotional truth and personal history. Known for his use of natural light, rich tones, and disarming intimacy, Kareem creates imagery that feels lived-in - capturing not just what’s seen, but what’s felt. His early work spans fashion, portraiture, and community-based projects, often centering Black identity and quiet vulnerability. Through collaborations with brands like Pyer Moss and Pattern, and artists across disciplines, Kareem has developed a visual language that honors softness, stillness, and memory. Each image holds a pulse - whether it’s a fleeting glance, a tender silence, or the weight of presence. His practice is less about performance and more about preservation: of feeling, of place, of self. Now building on that foundation, Kareem continues to explore new forms with the same emotional rigor that has always defined his lens.
